Florence is a gem! She made us feel right at home from the start. The breakfasts were the highlight—especially the to-die-for French Toast. The location is fantastic for walking around and exploring local markets. Our room was spacious and comfortable.

Florence, our gracious hostess, truly made our stay magical. The beautiful old home is a gem, featuring spacious rooms with high ceilings and stunning antique decor. Each morning brought a delightful breakfast spread, with fresh croissants that made us yearn for more. The location is perfect for exploring nearby attractions!

Unfortunately, we found our third-floor room unbearably warm during our stay, as there was no air conditioning or fan available. The lack of an elevator also posed challenges, especially when carrying our luggage up the stairs. Additionally, the hotel is situated a bit far from the main tourist area, which limited dining options nearby.

I almost wrote a nice review, but then I remembered the lights turning off in the bathroom when my back was turned. Not to mention, a welcoming gesture would've been lovely, especially since I saw the note about unplugging the TV. To top it all off, the room was downright stuffy during my stay.

During our stay, we appreciated the delicious and varied breakfast each morning, especially the fresh croissants that were a highlight. The historical charm of the place is lovely, with decor reflective of its age, dating back to the late 1700s. The owner was genuinely attentive and even helped us out in a pinch when our rental car posed challenges. Additionally, key attractions like the Bayeux Cathedral and the Musee Memorial de la Bataille de Normandie were just a short walk away, making it convenient to explore the area.

Particulier De Sainte Croix is a charming traditional French B & B located in the center of Bayeux. Florence, our host, was exceptionally accommodating and provided helpful tips on local attractions. The room was very comfortable, featuring a spacious seating area and a large bed. The highlight of our stay was the breakfast, which was simply outstanding — we eagerly anticipated it each morning, especially the delightful fresh croissants.
