The breakfast spread was delightful daily.
Unfortunately, we found our third-floor room unbearably warm during our stay, as there was no air conditioning or fan available. The lack of an elevator also posed challenges, especially when carrying our luggage up the stairs. Additionally, the hotel is situated a bit far from the main tourist area, which limited dining options nearby.

I almost wrote a nice review, but then I remembered the lights turning off in the bathroom when my back was turned. Not to mention, a welcoming gesture would've been lovely, especially since I saw the note about unplugging the TV. To top it all off, the room was downright stuffy during my stay.

During our stay, we appreciated the delicious and varied breakfast each morning, especially the fresh croissants that were a highlight. The historical charm of the place is lovely, with decor reflective of its age, dating back to the late 1700s. The owner was genuinely attentive and even helped us out in a pinch when our rental car posed challenges. Additionally, key attractions like the Bayeux Cathedral and the Musee Memorial de la Bataille de Normandie were just a short walk away, making it convenient to explore the area.

The spacious room was beautifully decorated with antiques, creating a charming and comfortable ambiance. Breakfast was a daily delight, with fresh pastries, including famous buttermilk biscuits, and an array of options that changed each morning. While the service was generally attentive, our third-floor room became quite warm, and the absence of an elevator made lugging our bags up the stairs a challenge.
